Hi Condobloke, I'm an IDIOT, I downloaded a utility for Mac, Mac Keeper or Mac Guard can not remember. I run a scan but I did not accept the purchase of the program. Since then appear pages of unwanted websites.

When I want to open a page in the web some numbers or words are underlined and if i point the cursor appears a small window with advertising.

I have a MacBook 2,4 Ghz core i5 running OSX 10.9.4.

I downloaded Mac-Rogue_remouver but it didn't find any problem.

Thank you for your help.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Website_spoofing     ---   Copy and paste this article into your web browser- I think it will explain what is going on with your Mac- you need an anti- phishing utility maybe!

Hi paul88ks, thank you very much for the tip, the program ClamXav has moved the infected parts in a quarantine folder but the internet navigation is worse, it is very unstable. First step in Google Chrome and then? can you suggest a good security program?. What can I do to instability problems?

Franco

Can you tell me in more detail what you mean by "instability"? Are you using Chrome browser? What is happening?

there are many good antivirus programs out there for Mac. Personally,I like www.escan.com it is a free trial and has a stand -alone virus and malware removal tool which has worked for me when all the others failed. I recently did a search for the top 10 antivirus and malware programs and Bit defender was no.1 You can do a search for your self and there are many reviews about the top ten- just type in google- Top ten antivirus and malware programs for Mac. Escan is 16 on the list but like I said it worked when all others failed . Let me know your outcome!

Hi paul88ks, Instability: if I do a search in the web, the page found disappears and it appears that one is the same argument, For exemple, I try an Italian booking site after finding it will disappear and you will see a page with the same topic, may be "Venere booking". The first page and this new page are in costant motion, seems to be updayted. If I close the last reappears the first one. This evening I installed Google Chrome and everything seems more stable but il always reappears MacKeeper.

Thank you for your patience.
