As a very stupid mistake I fell into a phishing scam, clicked a link on a steam conversation, and tried to add someone on the internet, ended up on a fake steam community site where I downloaded and ran a file called steamguard.exe.

Right after I ran it I saw the url and it was called steamcornmunity instead of steamcommunity, of coure I freaked out, so I deleted the file, changed my steam password, and deleted my steam ssfn files.

So now my computer is still infected by this trojan virus that causes my computer to freeze when I try and download an antivirus, and would probably steal my steam account when I would try to log in.

Microsoft security essentials didn't find anything, and neither did Avast (I uninstalled MSE and installed Avast from a usb memory).

So what can I do? It also deleted my restore points, and I have no idea of what it is capable of.

I would be incredibly gratefull for any help. :D

My situation seems to be really similar to this person's problem: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/545817/steamguardexe/?hl=%2Bsteamguard#entry3463329

but I still wanted to make sure, because of all the different kinds of steam viruses that are around these days.
