Hey Guys! biggrin.gif

I've been working on a new gaming pc I'm building. After much input I've come up with this:

http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/6LWRwP

(I actually buy all my parts from newegg.ca)

My main concern is the GPU. Is the EVGA GeForce GTX 780 3GB Superclocked ACX a good card for its price? If not, I'd love to hear suggestions of similarly priced cards that would be better. Also if there are any other glaring issue with the rig PLEASE let me know, and thanks a million! biggrin.gifbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gif

oh, and I also found this one: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16814487014
It's refurbished, but saves me some money. Would this be a good alternative?

ty again <3

G'day mate, welcome to the forum! Based on the part list, there is no glaring issues that i can see in terms of compatibility although a 850W power supply is a total overkill for a single graphics card system. Something like the Corsair RM650 would definitely be a better option and the build quality is much higher then the EVGA model.  A alternative graphics card would be the Asus R9 290 which is about the same price then the GTX 780 refurbished and is quicker in terms of performance.

Thanks killer, I will definitely opt for a cheaper/better quality PSU.

Do you think 650w will be enough if I intend to overclock? Also would you recommend buying refurbished computer parts? Thanks you =)

650W will be more then enough for overclocking as the total system power at full load will be approximately around 300ish watt or lower, hence giving plenty of headroom for you to overclock.
