I got a notification to update one of the programs I installed on iPhone 5 awhile back.

When I attempt to download, it gives error message to the effect "app no longer exists".

I know how to hold down the icon and uninstall, but can't do it in this case.  the app is greyed on on the desktop.

So now, I can't get rid of the annoying red reminder button in Apps.

Any idea how I get rid of this?

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried connecting the device to your computer and removing it through iTunes?

He said the same thing he had been saying for hours... "burn them all".
