System: Windows 7 64 bits

Printer: Epson Stylus DX4050

I have download the scanner driver for my printer from the Epson website, and when I click on it, I get the following message:

"Epson Scanner cannot be started. Please use the Troubleshooting Assistant to solve the problem. Do you want to open the Troubleshooting Assistant?"

"Yes" "No"

I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling, but it has not worked.

Thanks for the help.

Your 64bit computer cannot use the Epson scan software which is only for 32bit.

This is a paid application but see if you can scan after installing the trial. It cannot scan filmstrips.

Glad it worked for you and thank you for the update. The price for this program is very fair for what it can do.
