Can someone help me out please.
My microphone sound wasn't great and I decided to install this realtek driver after I read it somewhere on a blog.

http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=14&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false

I picked the 64bit one since thats what I have.

It first uninstalled my previous one and then installed the new one after rebooting the pc.

But now my sound does not work. When I check in the audio section i see it moving up and down as IF sound is playing (when i put on music) but nothing comes oiut of the speakers nor through my headset.

I dont know much about pc's so help would be appreciated :)

When I check my device manager I see AMD high definition audio device and realtek high definition audio.
Both are working correctly

nevermind. Fixed :) I used a driver update program. And then in sound setting I had to disable the front plugs of the pc and that made it work.  One of the front plugs is defect
