Hello,

One of my coworkers is having a problem with her icons moving around. She is running a 64bit windows 7 OS. I have tried a program called DIPS which lets you save how your icons are and if they move you can restore them but that wasn't what I was looking for. I'm hoping to find a fix so they wont move around at all.  Please help if possible.

thanks

DJ

What's wrong with;

1. R-click a blank area of the desktop

2. Mouse over View

3. On the menu that appears, uncheck 'Auto arrange icons' (if it is checked)

4. Repeat the above, but check 'Align icons to grid'

Now your icons should stay where they are placed. But sometimes when video drivers are updated they will get scattered and you'll have to rebuild the grid.

Thanks for the reply but we have already looked into that and like you put the auto arrange icons is unchecked and the align icons is checked.
