updates taking forever

just factory reset vista and when i turned my pc off it had to update. i turned my screen off and fifteen minutes later i tried to turn my screen off but it said vga not active but my tower is still on. i want to know if its safe to turn it off yet (i assumed not but you guys are the experts)

I'm guessing this is a typo?


Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
