all programs take 5+ minutes to open, including start up items, it even take a good three minutes to show the Windows 7 welcome screen. and all programs freeze up moments after they are opened (including start up items), even notepad with just two words in it freezes up. plus Windows 7 will experience long freezing up as well. I had this computer off for 5 days and when I booted it up, this happens. and happens for every boot up. I think malware is behind it. (can malware occur happen when the computer is off?)

Did you try system restore to before the issue happened?
