Hello, Well, I've recently recieved what I believe is a java trojan/exploit... It has been preventing me from using IE(giving me the: "IE recently developed an error blah blah... Send error report, don't send." It has also been restarting itself everytime I try to download a patch for it(I ran the Windows live security and it found 14 virus' and 200 something infected files... I'm currently running AVG and it has found 2 virus' thus far... I have HiJackThis'd some of it I believe, because I'm not getting the IE explorer thing but I still believe it's on my system because some installations aren't working properly.

Anyways, I attempted to fix this with my Hijackthis and deleted a few files which may have been vital(I haven't noticed yet.) Here's my Hijackthis report after deleting the files:

Too bad you already fixed things in hijackthis yourself - now we can't see anymore what still needs to be done or not or with what else you are still dealing. Fixing in hijackthis doesn't delete files, it only deletes registry keys, so the files are still present.

We'll have to find them in another way.. but first perform this:

Download and Save blacklight to your desktop.
F-Secure Blacklight: http://www.f-secure.com/blacklight/try.shtml
Double-click blbeta.exe then accept the agreement.
click > scan then > next,
You'll see a list of all items found.
Don't choose for rename yet! I want to see the log first, because legit items can also be present there...
There must be also a log on your desktop with the name fsbl.xxxxxxx.log (the xxxxxxx stand for numbers)
Post the contents of the log in your next reply.

Ok, now start Blacklight again..
Click scan.

It will show next results in the window:

c:\WINDOWS\system32\zopenssl.dll
c:\WINDOWS\system32\zopenssld.sys

Once the scan is done, select each of above entries in the Window and click the 'rename' button below.
So next to each entry, there should appear 'rename'.
Then click next and answer OK at the prompts.

Blacklight will tell you if you want to reboot. Click yes and reboot.

After reboot, delete next files:

c:\WINDOWS\system32\zopenssl.dll.ren
c:\WINDOWS\system32\zopenssld.sys.ren

Then post a new hijackthislog in your next reply.

Hi,

Ok, check and fix next entry in hijackthis:

O20 - Winlogon Notify: zopenssl - zopenssl.dll (file missing)

I assume you set next entry yourself in your hosts? If not, check and fix it as well:
O1 - Hosts: 222.111.150.111 gwgt1.joymax.com

Let me know in your next reply how things are.
