I ran malwarebytes for a friend of mine and once it was finished I rebooted the PC. Once it rebooted I tried to open an application and an error would come up about bad image. Not sure what to do

FWIW:  IMO..."bad image" messages/errors can be several things, but I interpret them as Windows saying "I can't read this file for whatever reason."

Possible reasons, IMO, center around file corruption and malware.  If running malwarebytes resolved your issues...the nod goes to malware, in your case.

It might be prudent to create a new topic for that system in the Am I Infected Forum .
