I have this frustrating problem on my pc monitor. About two to three days ago, it automatically changes the mode from picture, game, movie and eco. So I tried the option on my monitor that locks the settings.

It turns out that something just keeps "pressing" this options to come out. Everytime the pop up appears, I'm forced to reset my monitor over and over.

It's really annoying everytime I'm working on a job or just simply surfing the net.

When this window appears, what application is generating it? ie, is it a BenQ window, a Windows window?

Can you quote exactly what the window says? Better yet, post a screenshot.

If you have a video card, do you have the card's driver suite installed?

The benq window generates it.

So I can't take a screenshot.

Its as if the button on the side of the monitor(for settings like brightness and osd) is automatically pressed over and over. When I locked the osd, the changing of modes stopped. But the pop up window still appears.

This symptom is usually caused by electrical leakage in the button assembly (either from some liquid ingress, or a fault in a button switch or the circuit board material) or a component on the button board drifting off value.

The link to the jpg doesn't work.

I agree with Platypus, there must be a stuck/broken display control button.
