I have recently encountered a problem with my internet browser. Sometimes when I Google something (like YouTube) I get the normal list of search results. But when I click on the YouTube link, it goes to a small blank page that says "Redirect Notice" at the top. There is a small text on the page saying "The previous webpage is redirecting you. Continue to: www.Youtube.com or return to the previous page" I looked up this problem, and I found out that people call this the "Google redirect virus."
Now, I always click the "Continue to:" link and it always takes me exactly to where I want to go. It has never taken me to a bogus website that has nothing to do with what I'm searching for.
I believe I'm getting this confused with some other virus though. Almost every other forum speaks of their virus taking them directly to some bogus website instead of showing them the "Redirect Notice" page first. I cannot find any forums where someone has the same problem as me. This also only happens with Google, and IE.
I take it that this problem is Malware because it just started happening two days ago. Never before has it done this, and my computer is only half a year old. I have run Malware-bytes, Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool, MacAfee, and Windows Defender, but I cannot resolve the problem. Please help!
(I'll post a picture of the problematic page soon)
