Hey everyone. I'm new.

So I've heard quite a few things about the Surface Pro 2 and gaming. I even watched quite a few videos on youtube displaying the gaming capabilities of the pro 2 as they successfully launched games such as Diablo III, Skyrim, Half Life, ect.

I just recently purchased the pro 3 i3. I'd like to emphasize that I didn't buy this tablet specifically for gaming. (That would be silly. Although I will admit, the fact that the pro 2 could run games so well did entice me.) Anyway, I've been experimenting with it and it does seem to run most games pretty well. The last game I've been trying is Skyrim, and I've been experiencing a problem with it. It won't launch. It will give me an error saying that the resolution is not supported. I can play it in windowed mode but it's so small I can barely even see what's going on.

If any of you have experience with this game and this device, is there a way to get it to launch without switching to windowed mode? I've seen plenty of videos of skyrim being played on the pro 2 without any problems so I thought the pro 3 shouldn't have any problems with it. Any input on the matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Have you tried running your Surface Pro at one of the resolutions Skyrim does support?

That should work.

I know you think you understand what you thought I said,
but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant!
