Hi,

I use my Windows 8. 1 solely on a local account and use the apps on this account

I only have to sign into my Microsoft account if I wish to update, purchase or respond to certain apps,.

Doesn't effect anything with the local account, just means manually signing in to it when necessary.

Regards.
