I can sign into my account, but now email is nowhere to be seen. I 'search' for it, and a suggestion for "Where is my email" comes up, but when I click on that - it leads nowhere!

I have no idea what Google + is, but I have no problems with my gmail, either with my e-mail client, or with the web-based version which I only use to see if something was erroneously filed as spam.

If you're using the webmail version, which browser are you using?  Do you have scripts enabled?  Did you try using the basic html version if you have scripts disabled?  Do you see the folder list on the left hand side?
