Hi, katie,
I see that you are running Morpheus. It is not technically malware by itself, but it can install malware because it opens the door for any number of worms, adware, and spyware infections when you use their network. The courts have decided that current P2P networks are primarily used to trade pirated software and media.
The software itself is now been found illegal in some cases. I suggest that you remove Morpheus.
Here is some additional information: http://p2p.malwareremoval.com/
If you decide to remove it, use Add/Remove Programs via the Control Panel.

Then delete the Morpheus folder here:
C:\Program Files\Morpheus <--folder

Please delete your copy of the zipped HijackThis, and download a self-extractable version.
Click HERE to download a self-extractable version of HijackThis.
  • Double click on hijackthis.exe to extract hijackthis to folder c:\hijackthis.
  • It will extract it to that folder and open the folder for you.
  • It will also create a shortcut on your desktop to HijackThis.
Let's get rid of those dialers before we do any other cleaning.
Please launch HijackThis and place a checkmark next to these.
O16 - DPF: {00000000-0000-0000-0000-000020040000} - http://207.234.185.217/ABoxInst_int14.exe G
O16 - DPF: {0D62A517-E7C6-4E1F-A577-07D4AC549A48} (Progetto1.int_ver32) - http://advnt01.com/dialer/int_ver32n.CAB
O16 - DPF: {A1426AC5-8CE5-4A00-B71E-011D35709AC6} - http://advnt01.com/dialer/int_ver34.CAB

If you do not know what this is, fix this one as well:
O16 - DPF: {A6FF3C3C-F33A-4269-9300-2682DB3B3441} (McciUtilsRegistry Class) - https://ehelp.telus.net/lwp/static/installe...r_2-0-0_dsl.cab

If you removed Morpheus, place a checkmark by these two:
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Morpheus] "C:\Program Files\StreamCast\Morpheus\Morpheus.exe" -min
O4 - Startup: Morpheus.lnk = C:\Program Files\Morpheus\Morpheus.exe

Close all windows except HijackThis click "Fix Checked".

Reboot.

Please download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri) to your Desktop.
http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.zip
or from here: http://siri.geekstogo.com/SmitfraudFix.zip
Extract all the files to your Desktop. A folder named SmitfraudFix will be created on your Desktop.

Please download the trial version of Ewido Anti-malware 3.5 from here:
http://www.ewido.net/en/download/
  • Install Ewido Anti-malware.
  • When installing, under Additional Options uncheck Install background guard and Install scan via context menu.
  • When you run Ewido for the first time, you could get a warning "Database could not be found!". Click Ok.
  • The program will prompt you to update. Click the Ok button.
  • The program will now go to the main screen.
You will need to update Ewido to the latest definition files.
  • On the left-hand side of the main screen click the Update Button.
  • Click on Start.
The update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed.
If you are having problems with the updater, you can use this link to manually update Ewido.
http://download.ewido.net/ewido-signatures-full-current.exe

Once finished updating, close Ewido.
Make sure to close Ewido before installing the update.
______________________________

Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press Enter
This program will scan large amounts of files on your computer for known patterns so please be patient while it works. When it is done, the results of the scan will be displayed and it will create a log named rapport.txt in the root of your drive, eg: Local Disk C: or partition where your operating system is installed. Please post that log along with all others requested in your next reply.

Note : process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool";. It is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user. More info on that here:
http://www.beyondlogic.org/consulting/proc...processutil.htm

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other options until you are asked to do so!

Please post your rapport.txt and a fresh HijackThis log. Then we will do some more cleaning. Thanks!
