Greetings,  HP p6320f desktop, Win 7.  No sound, headphones or speakers, disc drive or internet.  Have gone into Device manager  - Sound video and game controllers - Realtek HIgh Definition Audio - "The device is working properly".  When audio is running, if I open up the volume icon in the task bar I can see the level changing (as if the sound is registering).  I beleive the sound card is integral to the motherboard on this computer.  Any suggestions ?  Thx.

Have you tried doing a control panel uninstall, reboot and reinstall of the drivers? If that doesn't work you may want to try installing a sound card.
