Where did it disappear from? When posting an issue please provide as many details as possible.

The folders are there, but they are emplty. They disappeared from the column on the right side of the screen which usually appears after clicking on the star. No sure that it matters where they disappear from, they disappeared.

It does matter where it disappeared from.

There are a couple of ways for it disappear. What the solution is depends on the scenario.

Saved favorites not in Favorites folder.
Icon on the toolbar disappeared.

Are the sites still listed in your Favorites folder?

Just in case:

Open My Computer.

Local Disk C/Users/Your user name/Favorites

There are some listed there but not all of them. The list ran almost all the way down the panel but now only about 1/4. Nothing in the folders and we have tried Local disk, etic. Apparently they are deleted and not recoverable unless a system restore will do it.
