I have downloaded and installed .Net Framework from MS. Is this something I must have? Can I uninstall it? I am not running any network. My ISP connection is cable modem.

Hi Max...

NET Framework is a development and execution environment that allows different programming languages & libraries to work together to create Windows-based applications that are easier to build, manage, deploy, and integrate with other networked systems.

You can probably remove it if you're not using it.
