I am trying to help my neighbor who has a VERY slow PC.  It is running Windows Vista.

I uninstalled a bunch of things from her computer that are no longer in use.  She had a HP6510 printer and then purchased a HP6520 printer.  I uninstalled the 6510 which seemed to uninstall correctly.

Upon boot up, I get "Error Loading c:\Program Files\HP\HP Photosmart 6510 series\bin\HPStatusBl.dll  The specified module cannot be found"  Can you tell me how I can rid of this message?

Also, I tried running a Disk Defrag.  It ran for over 24 hours before I cancelled it.  Any suggestions here?

Hi rzb1hd,

You can try using CCleaner or one of same with a different name ie slimcleaner. It can remove the dll from registry, that are left over from uninstalled programs.
