Thank you for your reply Just before receiving all your suggestions, I went to the Microsoft Community (after goggling my problem), and was told to try this ... You are facing this issue because of the startup programs on your computer. Once your computer starts the startup items are loaded. One of the startup items is initiating an install. We need to follow a clean boot procedure in order to find out which startup item is causing the issue. Please follow the steps below for clean boot procedure:
1. Log on to the computer.
2. Click Start, type msconfig.exe in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER to start the System Configuration Utility. Click Continue.
3. On the General tab, click Selective Startup, and then click to clear the Load startup items check box. (The Use Original Boot.ini check box is unavailable.)
4. Click OK, and then click Restart.
Determine whether the problem returns.
MY PROBLEM CEASED AFTER DOING THIS. Should I perform any or part of the functions you have suggested? Thank you!
