Have a computer that everytime I power it on, It would just shutdown before booting up...

Checked the power supply separately, and its working fine.. Not too sure if its the power button or

the motherboard is causing the problem... Need assistance

1. Open the PC and check for leaky or blown capacitors. That can cause your symptoms.

2. Disconnect non-essential peripherals like the optical drive, card reader or USB reader, etc., and try to power it then.

If it powers up, then one of the disconnected items is the problem.

3. Re-seat all connectors on everything... careful, don't use excessive force. see if it powers up.

ground yourself to the PC chassis before performing above actions... just touch the back of your hand to the chassis, don't ground yourself with a clip wire.

See what happens. Let us know.
