I am running Windows 7 on an HP laptop.

While typing, my text randomly relocates in another sentence. It can happen in Word, Excel, Email, or even in here while I am typing.

In some other forums, they suggested my thumbs might be coming too close to the mouse pad. I have tested this theory many times by concentrating on keeping them up and away. Same problem exists.

My cursor occasionally freezes too.

In frustraton, I downloaded a program called "TouchFreeze" which seems to make everything work (except the freezing cursor). When I run Rkill and Malwarebytes, both programs disable TouchFreeze. Rebooting deactivates it too.

I would love to find the root cause of both problems.

I have already gone through the virus debugging on another BleepingComputer forum. I had a Rootkit virus and a few other problems.
