Hello, I started to download VLC media player from downloadster, then realised it was probably the wrong place, but had already started. Since then I have had adverts popping up more and more frequently on my computer. I located PicRec in my programs, but when I try to uninstall it the message 'the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable'. I located it in Program Files, but it won't allow me to delete it from there either saying that the program is already in use, but it's not. So now I'm stuck as to how to remove PicRec and stop getting all these pop ups, please help me!! I ran my DDS thing and pasted it below. I'm really stupid at computers, so please make your reply as simple as possible! Hello, Welcome to BleepingComputer.
I'm nasdaq and will be helping you.

If you can please print this topic it will make it easier for you to follow the instructions and complete all of the necessary steps in the order listed.
===

===

Submit these logs for my review.

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here

  • Click the Scan tab at the top of the program window, select Threat Scan and click the Scan Now button.
  • If you receive a message that updates are available, click the Update Now button (the update will be downloaded, installed, and the scan will start).
