i have a Dell Dimension 4600c with the included cdrw/dvd drive.

im using the supplied Record now software that came with the pc.
but every time i try to make a cd it says please insert a blank disc and try again.
i have used multiple discs, even ones that are brand new from the pack.

would there be something wrong with the drive or the Record now program?

thanks for the help
you've helped me a few times in the past with great responces

Try deleting the drive in the device manager, reboot and let Windows find and reinstall it.
