C drive almost maxed out.
Can only run comp in Safe Mode. (Its not actualy Safe Mode but everything is big like in SM and the window is smaller than the monitor like in SM.)
The tools from a Bootup / Repair disk have no effect.
The secondary harddrive from my old comp, fitted in this machine, and the files therein are not found.
Have only basic Windows programes.
Have no access to any other files or programes.
I run ADWCLEANER as suggested in another post but it found nothing as it is only finding the basic Windows programes.
Adobe Flash Player 14 is the only programe listed in >Control Panel>Programes>Programes and features.
Many .dll files appear to be missing and will not replace.
Had much trouble searching internet as many of the pictures or videos would not load.
Can not roll back to earlier restore point as it cant be found.
I have run the spyware, adware programes that I have (Super ainti spy ware, and others I cant recal ATM) They found the usual sort of stuff but made no difference to the performance of machine.

So  you might say I have issues!

What to do?

Please download and install Speccy to provide us with information about your computer.  When  FileHippo opens, click on Download latest version in the upper right pane.

When Speccy opens you will see a screen similar to the one below.

74.52 GB Total. 7.05 GB Free space. 9MG unallowcated.

The 74.52GB is listed as the primary partition. I dont recall having nominated any partitions when I first loaded the system.

Heres the Speccy results. I hope Ive got it right.

You didn't follow the instructions for the Speccy.  If you had a hyperlink would have been created which would open in another window with the snapshot.  The information which you posted is so disjointed that finding what I want to see if a tiresome chore.

Please read and follow the instructions I've provided.

- Your drive C: is only 67 GB in size with only 7 GB free. I guess Windows won't allow you and isn't able to make System Restore Points anymore. You simply need a larger harddisk of - at least - 200 GB.

- Start with running the build-in "Disk Clean up" and let it clean the systemfiles as well.

Willy22. I have run "disk clean up" at least twice. I realy think there are more issues than hard drive full.

Every where i go on this machine its like a gremlin has yanked a bit out. There seam to be bits missing that wont allow to do this or that.

Any programe that is designed to repair these bits, cant replace them.

- You also got a problem with your NVIDIA graphics card/adapter. Missing or damaged video driver ? That's why it looks like you're using Safe Mode.

- I don't see an Antivirus program. Then you're VERY vulnerable.for infections. You could be infected. That's would explain a lot.

- Upgrade to Interent Explorer 11. Much safer than IE 8.

- Did you try "Tweaking's Windows Repair" ? As the name of the program says, it can repair A LOT OF things.

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/windows-repair-all-in-one/

And do execute step 3 & 4 of the program.

- I still would put a larger harddisk in your system.

- With so many problems I would simply re-install Windows 7.

The first two items need to be addressed ASAP.

You need to install SP1.

You have Windows Defender enabled, but have no antivirus installed.  In Windows 8 Windows Defender is an active antivirus, but in Windows 7 in it is not an antivirus.  You need to install an active antivirus.  Avast! free is a good choice, it is effective and has a small footprint.

You have only 10% free space on your hdd.  I would suggest installing a second hdd and transfer all of you non-Windows data to it and leave the original hdd for Windows.

You have not posted the MiniToolBox, please do so, we need this to get a better idea of what is going on with this computer.

I do not agree with willy22, there isn't enough information to come to the conclusion that the operating system needs to be reinstalled.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

Until you address the free space requirement of the Windows/C: partition...you are just spinning your wheels.  Windows will not perform properly until that is solved.

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP AND DEDICATION.

It totaly crashed and burnt! I had to take it to a computer place for repair. He said the hard drive is knackered and replaced it.

Right or wrong I dont know but it looks to be fixed. Still going through things to see whats missing. (Its like being burged!)

Glenn Hughes.
