opening in media player

Hi, I downloaded books in the past to my device, and everything as gone ok.all of a sudden I download them from the same source,(Caliber.

and they appear as numbers and letters mixed up like a code. when I try from caliber I get a message that says' could not convert 1 of 1  books ,

because no supported source format was found.  also if I go to documents where my books are and try to open one ,it says' media player cant play this . why is it opening in media player.  any ideas'' Please.

I know very little about calibre etc ....however.....i will try....


Are these epub format or audio books ?

Hello there,


You can try using the restore library function in Calibre, it
may pick up the files and fix the issue.
