Had a virus on my computer, made alot of pop up adds come up whenever i opened google chrome or even Steam, it also forced my homepage to always be some 9V website. Anyway, i ran Malwarebytes and it quarantined the files it found to be hazardous, but ive lost my ability to connect to the internet. Says 'proxy server connection failed.' My OS is Windows Vista.
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated, i browsed some other topics of people with similar issues but wasnt sure if having a windows vista OS would change anything in my case.
