is Weatherbug safe? I've heard yes & no. is it truly a safe program to use?

'Safe' is a relative term. It depends on individual taste as to what people allow their computers to communicate with and what level of transparency. It is a legitimate application if that's what you're asking. Does it lurk in the background communicating with the server? Indeed.

It's all a matter of what you're comfortable with.

I've had it on my puter for years. It's not going to take over, if that's what you're worried about. But it does ask for you sign up for ads (which I never did, but get some anyway).

I live in the mid west and I like to have easy access to the weather around me, tornado's and all.. :blink:
