Basically, there are these things that come up on my browser when I am searching the internet. They hyperlink words in a page to try to get me to click on them and go to other pages. It says "real ads" on there but clearly they're not real because I have Adblock plugin installed in my firefox browser. I've tried system restore but that didn't solve the problem.
They also sometimes not allow me to go to a webpage. So if I put a url and hit enter, my page stays blank. They also popup extra pages that I didn't click from nowhere and mess up my google search results by adding other stuff so I have to wait a couple of secs to click on the actual results. My internet also slows up because of them.
At first, I went to my Programs in the Control Panel to see if it's a program. And it was labeled "RealAds" so I uninstalled it but that didn't actually do anything.
I've tried updating my microsoft essentials and doing a scan but that didn't work. I have now downloaded AVG Antivirus software but I haven't fully used that yet. This hasn't happened to me in years so I need some help cleaning up my computer from this virus.
Here's a screenshot of what I'm talking about.
Thank you so much for your help!
