Every time I restart my computer, or switch logins,  the following box shows up on the screen:

Please wait while windows configures PSTA Plugin....

It takes about 10-15 minutes, and the another box shows up and says the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable....

I think its an installation, not sure I would like to get rid of it. I have read it may have something to do with printers?? Regardless if you are going to respond, please give me a breakdown of the steps I need to take to remove this installer (and popup)...as I am not as computer savvy as everyone on bleeping computer....

Thanks!

Stacey

Take a look at this thread ... https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20060715131538AAa7dcE .

This problem seems to be related to HP (Hewlett-Packard) imaging software. IOW, probably the software package that came with an HP printer. I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling said HP software. Let us know.

a month or so ago i received a used Microsoft webcam. I went online to try to download an installation for it since I didn't have the CD. Could this be what is causing it? because I never successfully downloading the situation and gave up.

If it is regarding the HP printer, I don't have a printer hooked up to my computer so this would be fine, however, I have a lot of things listed in the add-remove programs list regarding HP and go forbid I get rid of anything I need. Is HP imagezone related to a printer or is it something that makes images show on my computer?? see attached for all the HP related programs i have in add/remove programs. Do i need to remove this in safe mode?

Why cant i attach a jpeg? I don't know how else to attach a screen shot image...

Thanks! -Stacey
