Hi there,

I accidently cracked my laptop screen. a friend installed a new one and added more ram. since then I have had a black screen with the computer booting up. I removed the ram and installed it again. Now I have a blue screen with error on it reading

The operating system couldn't be loaded because the kernel is missing or contains errors. after choosing F8 I get different errors.

Can someone help me with this please?

Thanks, Lee

Hi,

Have you removed the memory modules that your friend installed. If not try removing those and then see what happens on re-boot.
