Hello again, another 486 problem. This time I'm really lost.
So my newly installed 1.2gb hard drive from 1997 finally failed, so I decided to pick up an alternative, a compact flash adapter for my 512mb cf card.
Only problem is whenever it's connected there is no video at all and the speaker beeps 8 times. Which, according to amibios, means a video failure. But if I unplug the cf adapter it works just fine. Any ideas?
