When I go to search for Firefox in the start menu, i have to type in the full name for it to even recognize that the program is installed, whereas with other programs, I can just type in part of the name.  This isn't the only program it happens with.  Also, the program name comes all lowercase.  Any ideas as to why this is happening?

Hi,

Can you tell us more about the system, hardware and software, and any other problems that you've discovered?

Thanks

Does Firefox open if you click on it in the results?

If this is all you have questionable I would not worry about it.

You could always create a shortcut in either the start menu or the desktop for firefox instead of writting "firefox" on the search bar

that is a strange one and I have got to admit if this was happening to me I would also want to know what is causing it, I have had a general browse of other forums etc and cannot find much on this.

Have you tried it on another persons pc to see if they get the same problem?
