Here I was - thinking I was going to have to reformat my harddrive, because I couldn't remove the free Adobe Reader 7.0.7 through appwiz.cpl (add/remove programs in control panel) that was missing its needed Msi file. Everytime I tried to uninstall it I was getting an " Error 1714: The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'Adobe [product] .msi' in the box below."

I searched the web for some fix or reinstallation procedure, but finally I went to the user forums at Adobe.com for the solution.

A reference to: http://www.adobe.com/support/techdocs/320310.html - was what I found.

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...kb;en-us;290301 <<= explains what the tool is and does, and where Msicuu2.exe can be downloaded. You have to install the program in order to run it.
