Well a couple of days ago i sent this mass message "Hey Contact Name! You should see this photo of you! hxxp://goo.gl/JU8DMq" Using ClownFish Translator. It was a link to a Rick Roll to test how many people would click a virus link. I think the world needs to know this, Get Ready!!!! So far it has gotten, 61 Clicks! 61 out of my 168 skype friends would have a virus if this was one. I think the world should be more careful people. I put this in General Security because it was about being secure on the internet.
TL;DR:
61 People clicked a "virus" link to a rick roll out of 168 people in 2 days! Security is needed!

Edit: Link to deceptive website deactivated to prevent anyone from inadvertently getting infected. Please do not visit that site without adequate malware protection enabled.~ Animal

But, in order for those 61 people to be infected you would also have to be infected, as the message came from you.  So, by your being safe you are protecting your less savvy friends.

It has been proven time and again that the user is a more substantial factor in security than the architecture of the operating system or installed protection software. Therefore, security begins with personal responsibility and following Best Practices for Safe Computing.
