AVG Security. Vista Home Dell 530 Inspiron....64 bit operating system Also malewarebytes and superAntiSpyware .. all results clean. Computer is 5+ years old and only about 10% free space. I have no idea if this is a hardeare, software, or virus.

After connecting to my homepage (yahoo), I am unable usually to connect to another website when I click on that page within the first window. The "tab" usually shows the website I am searching for but will not connect. Actually to be honest , it will work correctly for a short while, usually about 30 minutes, then the inability to connect starts.
After about an hour it becomes impossible to even get a new homepage window to connect, although if I click it twice the 2nd one will connect, but not the first. This same oddity happens on websites within the window when I click.
I know I did a confusing job of explaining this and apologize and stand ready to answer any questions.
If it helps at all, I went to transfer pictures from my camera to the computer and the computer never recognized the connection....first time ever.

Edit: Moved topic from Windows Vista to the more appropriate forum.~ Animal

For what it's worth I updated Java and Crap Cleaner, and for the last 12-14 hours everything is working fine.  Will try my camera transfer in a bit.
