What exactly do you mean by "test my computer"?

Since this file is in a temp folder, you should be able to just delete it.  Leave it in the recycle bin for a few days in case you do need it for some unforeseen reason.  I think I'd also download and run Malwarebytes to check for malware.  After getting it up to date and doing the scan, click Quarantine All and follow onscreen instructions.

Good luck.

This is going to take a very long time to get to the bottom of if you can't provide some specific information.

Is this a job which will require your computer to be able to run a specific program in order for you to be eligible for it?

This test I'm guessing is a program, what is it?

okay what it is I applied for a work at home job. One if the requirements is that your computer need to be tested to make sure that you will be able to do the job. The job sends you a link that you need to click on in order to run the test. The test is a two part test the first part is PC hardware test ( which I have problems with) and the second part is ISP and Voice Quality Test (which I passed).

Now once I click the link in the email. It sends me to the company website a java box appears I click run then a user box appears then a box stating "an error has occurred. Are you allowing the pc test tool to run when prompted I click okay. Shortly after the Autoit box appears with line1296 message.

Please give the name of the website/ company. Enough info to see what the web has to say about it.

I suspect this may not be on the up and up and you may have installed malware on your computer. Not sure.

I suggested that you delete the problem file from that temp folder.  Is there a problem with doing that?  I suspect that would solve your problem.

Convergys is a legit company.

They do give minimum requirements. Is your computer hard wired connected...not wireless?

Is your computer more than 6 years old? Does it meet the minimum processing and memory requirement?

IMPORTANT NOTES BEFORE PROCEEDING TO THE PC TEST

You must be hardwired to a router
.Convergys Home Agent platform does not support any wireless Inter
net connections or devices (keyboard, mouse, monitors, etc.)

•Be at the location and computer you will work from
.
Be sure to take the PC Test from the computer and location you plan to work from
.

•Read through the PC requirements online

If you are not sure or want to verify your computer's hardware and/ or would like a second opinion, use the

program below and post the results back here.

Publish a Snapshot using Speccy
