After using firefox a few times, it wants to tell me it,s running when I try to look up something new. I look in the task manager to disengage but it is not in there. I have to restart my computer to get it to work and after a few times it does the same thing. Driving me nuts. Please help.....Ray

This isn't a real issue.  Sometime Firefox won't clear cleanly out of memory.  Simply start the task manager, and you should see multiple "firefox.exe" running.  Simply click on each, "end process", until all are gone, and it should start fine.

Have a great day!

That's normally the cause.  Look "Processes" also as well as "Applications".

Windows 8 = "Apps" and "Background Processes".

Hello

This happens alot when there is a corrupt Firefox profile. Please create a new FF profile and see if this resolves the issue:
