Here is just an index of some resources that I thought some of you might like to take a look at in regards to information security. I came by the following info while learning about information security at TEEX Cyber Security - A place to get continuing education credits.

Computer Security Resource Centre - a site with a lot of info about information security such as roles and responsibilities, polices, management, identification and authorisation, and much, much more.

Defining Computer Security - another great website that explains security in depth as well as explains all the technical jargon.

Computer Security Terminology - describes all the terminology, ideal for beginners

Basic Principles - wikipedia article explaining basic computer security principles

Vulnerability - Article explaining in depth about computer vulnerabilities

Access Control - Article explaining in depth about access control

Security Attacks - A site that describes in depth about all the kinds of attacks to a system as well as much more stuff in order to protect a system

Types Of Attacks - Drawing on more kinds of attacks that might be used

Identity Theft - A government site explaining what this is and how to better protect yourself

Database Security Issues: Inference - An article drawing on common database security issues
