After running the restore at the end right before it loads I get a black screen that says pleas ewait.. Who knew it meant forever. I've loaded straight from the CD, bypassed the harddrive in the bios. Any help\ ideas

Am I understanding that you were doing a full system restore and just before it completed it gave you the error message?

Were you using a CD or was the image on another HDD? What software were you using to do the restore? What security software are you running and was it disabled during the restore process?

Have you tried to do a startup repair using the installation CD?

Keep us posted
