Today while watching videos on the internet an error came up. I attached the picture below. I looked around on the internet for a solution but couldn't find one. When i look at computer properties under windows activation, it says status not available, so Windows is not activated anymore i assume. A few minutes after my desktop went black, as to give some proof as Windows is not active. Please help! I also used the minitoolbox and posted the result below.

You have a whole bunch of errors saying you need to run chkdsk and fix file system corruption.  E.g.

"Error: (07/20/2014 02:28:17 PM) (Source: Ntfs) (User: )
Description: The file system structure on the disk is corrupt and unusable.
Please run the chkdsk utility on the volume \Device\HarddiskVolume1."

So click Start and type CMD in the search box, then right-click CMD.EXE and click Run as Administrator.  From the command prompt type chkdsk to fix the file structure.  If you also would like to check for and attempt to repair bad sectors, add the /r operand. You'll have tell it to run the next time you reboot.  Bear in mind that checking for bad sectors can run for an hour or two depending on the size of your hard drive.

Good luck.

Everyone with a computer should back his system up to an external hard drive regularly.

Before I did anything...I would run an appropriate hard drive diagnostic on that hard drive to convince myself that a reinstall is worth the effort.

Read Guide, SeaTools For DOS - http://www.seagate.com/support/seatools/SeaToolsDOSguide.pdf, then download/run the long diagnostic, SeaTools for DOS Download - http://www.seagate.com/support/internal-hard-drives/consumer-electronics/ld25-series/seatools-dos-master/ .

Hello

The easiest way to troubleshoot Activation issues is with useing MGADiag

  • Download MGADiag (by Microsoft) from the link found below:

    http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012

  • Run the tool by double-clicking on the file. Press Continue when prompted
  • When it has finished, press Copy then Paste (Ctrl+V) this into your next post please

Please also mention what version of windows is mention on your COA sticker (if you have one) but don't post the key.
