I have an Acer 5052 NWXmi laptop. Currently I have 1 GB DDR2-533/PC2-4200 CL 4 and 512 mb DDR2-533/PC2-4200-444-12-A2 2rx16 200 PIN (CL 4 as well I guess).

My laptop came with 512 mb mentioned above and later I added a 1 GB RAM now its 1.5 GB RAM

I saw I can upgrade up to 4 GB and now I want to buy two 2 GB DDR2-667/PC2-5300 while looking through Internet I found one 2 GB with 3-4-5 CAS Latency

Can I go for it cause mine is 4-4-4 CAS L? and what is the Max speed I can go for, like 667 or 800 MHz or I should only use 533 MHz? below I gave the details of my laptop RAM, Mother board and CPU.

Best thing is to go to the major ram manufacturers sites, plug in your system specs they will advise you on what you can use.

According to your post, your DRAM frequency is 266.7MHz, however I have read it can go to 667 *as most laptops are like this*.

I looked in corsair RAM it shows 4 GB is Max for 5050 series but doesn't mention about speed. if you know any link let me know.

Here's the link to my laptop Aspire 5052NWXmi http://www.2ndshop.com/index.php?lay=show&ac=article&Id=538774491&Ntype=28

I think it is showing 266 MHz cause of 1 GB and 512 MB RAM I am using. In specification it says RAM type DDR2-533.

Whenever I'm looking for RAM I go to Crucial.  Run their system scanner to find the right RAM for your system.

Same for me.  The Crucial system scanner seems to work well.
