Hi,  I have just re- downloaded Adware from a link but no Icon has been left on the desktop to allow me to do a scan.

Any help appreciated.  regards    Carper

 Click Start, then click All Programs.  You should see the name of your antivirus program somewhere in the menu there.  You could also download and run Malwarebytes.  It checks for malware the antivirus programs often miss.

You can always just go to the program .exe...and send a shortcut to the desktop, for convenience.
