Why Trojan on Downloads

Is ther a reason why All VirusTotal scanned gets some trojan as a result?

Ex. #1 Autoruns-

Antiy-AVL Trojan/Win32.Vilsel 20140716

Ex #2 AwdCleaner

CMC Trojan.Win32.Generic!O 20140714 Commtouch W32/GenBl.DB95B030!Olympus 20140716

These are false positive results due to the nature of the type of tool it is. Powerful anti-malware tools can emulate malware like behavior behavior to a virus scanner.

If they are listed in the downloads section of this website, yes you can trust the application. The site owner (Grinler) will have checked and verified that the applications are malware free, and safe to use, before adding them to the list of free applications.
