Welcome,

In writing, can you give us the specs on the system? RAM, PSU wattage, etc.?

Do you have another power supply that you can swap into that box to see if it makes a difference?

I don't recommend running XP now that it is not supported. Too many 'nasties' are looking for a nice home.
