Has anyone tried this distro (Linux Deepin)?

I've only tried the live USB version last night but I haven't really gone too far. I think I like it. It looks clean and runs fast, too. I am planning to install it on a hot-swappable drive as secondary OS. I also like the fact that it's running Google Chrome as a default browser. I have tried setting up a multi-monitor but I haven't figured it out yet. Has any one tried it on multi-monitor setup? How do you set it up?

Well, guess what??? I did it. Linux Deepin on 3-monitors (extended mode):

The good thing about this distro is its "Windows-like" interface. From the Minimize-Close button to the right-click button interface. Everything is very familiar.

Cheers!

Looks nice!

Can't say I have tried deepin, but sounds familiar. Might have to give it a whirl. I like the clean look of it.

edit**

I like how I have to use Google translate just to view their webpage... lol. I still might give it a try though. I am curious to see how their HTML5 based Desktop environment works. Sounds interesting.

BTW badr0b0t - is the default language English? Or is it Chinese?

Their site is available in english, but their linking setup needs work, and the English version appears to lack some menus that the Chinese version has. Just append "?language=en" to the end of the url you're visiting. I'm not sure if it works on the entire site, but it works for me on all of these pages:

- http://www.deepin.org/ becomes http://www.deepin.org/?language=en

- http://www.deepin.org/system.html becomes http://www.deepin.org/system.html?language=en

- http://www.deepin.org/soft.html becomes http://www.deepin.org/soft.html?language=en

- http://www.deepin.org/download.html becomes http://www.deepin.org/download.html?language=en

- http://wiki.deepin.org/ becomes http://wiki.deepin.org/?language=en

For their forum English has it's own subdomain http://en.bbs.deepin.org/ and I'm not sure if they have a Chinese forum.

Good to know. Google Translate did a pretty good job at translating everything as well.
