In order to help you we need details. Be as specific as possible.

What software was updated? How did you update it?

Are you using a wired or wireless connection?

What exactly do you mean by "none of my windows will open"?

Are you getting any error messages? If so, post the exact message(s).

Desktop or laptop?

Anything else we should know?

Can you boot into Safe Mode.

To boot into Safe Mode begin with the computer turned off.

Press the power button and immediately start tapping the F8 key.

If the computer is able to do this you will see an image similar to the one below, this is the Advanced Boot Options.

You will need to use the up or down key to navigate to Safe Mode, then press Enter to select it.

What is the model of this pavilion?

What browser are you using?

Have you tried a different browser?

Open you Network and Sharing Center to see if you have an active network.
