Hi,

I use Firefox and I wanted to save a web page so I went to File --> Save Page As... but I noticed under

Save as type: that there were a few options:

Web Page, complete (*.htm;*.html)

Web Page, HTML only (*.htm;*.html)

Text Files (*.txt;*.text)

All Files (*.*)

I was wondering what the difference is between Web Page, complete (*.htm;*.html) and Web Page, HTML only (*.htm;*.html)?

i notice when I save a page as Web Page, complete (*.htm;*.html) that is saves an .htm file and a folder containing all the stuff on the web page, and when I save the same page as Web Page, HTML only (*.htm;*.html), it saves an .htm file like before but doesn't appear to make a folder.

Thank you, and sorry if this is a stupid question...

(EDIT: And sorry for the unspecific Topic Title, I forgot to change it before posting and now I have already posted so I can't edit it...)

Web page complete saves everything that it takes to make up the web page such as the html, images, etc. and HTML only saves only the HTML page.

Okay... That seems pretty obvious...  :P  I did guess that but I wanted to make sure.

Thanks!
